The staff here used to be very friendly but over the past several months I have had really poor customer service experiences. No one greets incoming customers anymore. The employees stocking shelves and produce used to greet you as you passed them in the aisle, now they don't. The cashier's act like they hate their jobs...no friendly greeting or conversation..they just robotically scan my items and bag them. When I do large shopping trips, the cashier and bagger both act annoyed at the volume of items. And I'm only talking about 1 cart full.
This store # 159 is my go-to store when I need some organic items or even quick & easy frozen meals. However, this particular employee named Rebecca, is the reason why I'm only giving this store location a 2 stars. I've encountered her many times already. For a few times now, I went up to her line to be cashed out (I had no choice, she's the only cashier). The problem is, Rebecca is ALWAYS unfriendly towards me. I tried to just let those instances slid under the rug. But i decided to let the owner learn about it after i encountered her again today. I noticed that she treats other customers in a nice manner. But when it's already my turn, she automatically changes her facial expressions into frown, and wouldn't greet me at all compared to others ahead of me in the line. What's the difference? I'm also a GO customer. I'm not asking her to be super nice to me, but treat me well as a customer. She creates a bad impression to the store. It makes me wonder if it is because I'm not white? I hate to think that she's a racist!!! If so, please train her very well to treat all the customers equally!
The prices are good and the selection of items is good. I almost always find what I'm looking for, but the staff are making me reconsider where I spend my money.
This store has great deals on your everyday food items. There selection is amazing and they get in some different stuff every time I go there.
I think my only little complaint would be that there is no special labeling for vegan or gluten free items. Sometimes they are hard to find. But I know how hard that can be when stock changes so quickly. So you still get 5
Staff is warm and friendly. Joking with each other and laughing. That's a huge plus! Big spacious sales floor. I love the aisle layout, especially the seasonal one. So much to shop and see.
This hometown store is a great place to shop for every day grocery needs and unique products too. The staff is helpful and the lines are never long. The prices are the icing on the cake! Thank you GO for being a great place to shop!
